This simple, practical wall-mounted holder supports an angle grinder by its disc guard, keeping the tool accessible while freeing up valuable workspace.

The opening has been designed to accommodate angle-grinder guards measuring up to approximately 140mm across their external diameter. The design was tested using four different angle grinders to provide compatibility with a range of commonly used models.

Manufactured in-house by Wards Additive, this holder is ideal for fabrication shops, CNC sheds, engineering workshops, garages and home workshops.

Installation

1. Position the holder against a suitable wall or solid mounting surface.
2. Mark the mounting-hole positions.
3. Use suitable wall plugs or fixings for the mounting surface.
4. Secure the holder using 4mm countersunk screws.
5. Carefully tighten the screws until the holder is secure.
6. Place the angle grinder into the holder and confirm it is supported correctly.

Important: Do not overtighten the countersunk screws. Excessive force could damage the holder or separate the printed layers.

Compatibility

The holder is designed for angle grinders with disc guards measuring up to approximately 140mm across their external diameter.

Angle-grinder shapes and guard designs vary between manufacturers. Measure the external diameter and check the shape of your grinder’s guard before ordering.

Compatibility with every angle-grinder model cannot be guaranteed.

Important safety information

Mount the holder only to a solid, suitable surface using fixings appropriate for the wall material and the combined load.

Do not overtighten the mounting screws. Inspect the holder regularly and stop using it if it becomes cracked, loose, distorted or damaged.

Ensure the angle grinder is switched off and disconnected from its power supply or battery before placing it into the holder.
