These 20mm CNC machine bed plugs cover unused precision locating holes—also known as dowel holes, tooling holes or fixture-location holes—on CNC milling machine beds and tables.
Precision locating holes are used with ground dowel pins and locating components to position vices, fixtures and workholding equipment accurately and repeatedly. When left uncovered, these holes can quickly collect swarf, metal chips, coolant, cutting oil and workshop dirt.
Once this contamination becomes compacted, it can be difficult and time-consuming to remove. These push-fit plugs provide a simple way to keep unused holes covered, clean and ready for future use.

Compatibility and fitting
These plugs are designed for nominal 20mm precision locating holes. Although they have been tested on XYZ Prototrak LPM and XYZ 2-OP machines, hole dimensions and tolerances can vary between machine manufacturers and models.
Please measure your locating holes before ordering. Compatibility with every machine containing nominal 20mm holes cannot be guaranteed.
The plugs are protective covers, not precision locating components. Remove them before inserting dowel pins, fixtures or workholding equipment.
